St Andrews Self-Catering Holiday Apartment Information
Here are our principal booking conditions, together with some useful information to assist you in planning your self catering holiday at 12 Howard Place, St Andrews Fife. Please contact us if you have any questions.
While the standard booking is 1 week, three-night weekend and four-night midweek short breaks are usually available. The minimum stay is three nights. Four-night mid-week short breaks are priced the same or less than three-night weekend breaks, with the fourth night free, and thus represent excellent value.
All prices are in Pounds GB. The rent is fully inclusive of VAT, central heating, electricity, bed linen, duvets, towels and tea towels. We do not provide beach towels. We provide one bath sheet and one hand towel per person. The accommodation is provided with many other necessities such as crockery, cutlery and other dining and kitchen ware, liquid soaps and shampoos and sufficient groceries to welcome you on your arrival, including coffee, tea, milk and cereals. If spirts or beers are left in the apartment, please replace any that you use before your departure at your discretion.
The prices shown are for all four bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 couples, or 3 couples and 2 more in twin beds. However, a discount will be given if only three bedrooms are used (this will be calculated during the booking prodess). Please note that the three bedrooms option provides two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, sleeping up to six guests. The fourth bedroom, bedroom one, is a double.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rent is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid no later than eight weeks prior to your arrival date. If booking less than eight weeks prior to your arrival date, the full rent must be paid immediately. Payment can be made by credit card using PayPal or by direct bank transfer or by cheque payable to 'Fire Dragon Limited'.
All bookings whether booked on-line, by post or by telephone are subject to written confirmation by us. No bookings shall be regarded as complete until confirmed by us.
- Arrival and Departure
Your apartment will be available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. You must depart at the end of your holiday by no later than 10.00 am. Please advise your time of arrival to ensure that we can welcome you.
The apartment comprises the top and attic floors of a historic listed building reached by common and internal stairs. It is not, therefore, suitable for anyone who cannot manage flights of stairs.

The apartment is not suitable for young children.
- Smoking Policy
For the comfort of all of our guests and neighbours, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the building.
For the comfort of all of our guests, pets are not permited.
